Epic Interiors approached the 6th floor of Skyway Behavioral Health in Skokie with a more refined and grounded design sensibility, tailored to an adult population seeking calm, privacy, and emotional ease. As a Chicago interior designer specializing in residential design and behavioral health environments, the goal was to create a space that feels sophisticated, quiet, and deeply supportive, where individuals can engage in treatment within an atmosphere of dignity and comfort.
The design emphasizes restraint, balance, and warmth through a neutral palette, softened textures, and carefully scaled furnishings that promote relaxation without overstimulation. Natural materials, curated artwork, and uncluttered spaces work together to create a sense of order and calm, reinforcing therapeutic work and emotional processing. The result is an environment that feels steady and restorative, reflecting Epic Interiors’ belief that thoughtful design can support healing by creating spaces that are both grounding and thoughtfully elevated.
