Urban Edge | Chicago South Loop Loft

Located in Chicago’s South Loop, this classic loft condo was reimagined to better reflect a modern, urban way of living. Epic Interiors began by opening the main living space, removing a dividing wall to reveal uninterrupted views of the sweeping, floor-to-ceiling window line. This single move transforms the home’s experience, allowing natural light to travel freely and creating a sense of volume that feels both expansive and intentional. The kitchen, living, and work areas now read as one cohesive environment, supporting a fluid, day-to-day rhythm.

The interior is defined by a rich interplay of materials and contrast. Custom cabinetry and a streamlined island anchor the kitchen, where a deep, watery-blue backsplash introduces depth and a subtle sense of movement. A floor-to-ceiling built-in bookshelf becomes a central architectural moment, balancing function with visual weight while reinforcing the loft’s verticality. In the bath and powder room, layered textures, warm wood tones, and clean-lined fixtures create spaces that feel both tailored and inviting.
